As you know, back in June I launched the EMPIRE BUILDERS podcast…
We got to #1 in the business charts (which was pretty cool) but more impressively, generated over £250k in revenue within 90 days as a direct result!
Since then, a lot of our Mastermind members have been asking me:
“How did you do it?”
The answer is pretty simple…
I enlisted the help of someone who’s already been there and done it!
Of course, I’m talking about my good friend Rob Moore.
Sidenote: I hate it when people say ‘my good friend’ when in most cases they barely know each other.
But since Rob and I have known each other over 10 years, played golf, been shopping, made a LOT of money together, I think I’m on safe ground when I say we’re good friends!
So, back to the point of this email…
Rob is a bit of a legend when it comes to podcasting.
His ‘Disruptive Entrepreneur’ podcast has 624 episodes and counting, and is the #1 business podcast in the UK
His ‘Money’ podcast (yes – he has TWO podcasts!) is also pretty awesome.
And he’s helped literally hundreds of experts (me included) to successfully launch their podcasts.
So – here’s why I’m writing to you today…
I’ve just spoken to Rob, and he’s agreed to reveal his proprietary ‘Podcast Launch Strategy’ to our audience at Expert Empires Global.
This is the exact strategy I followed to:
1) Create the brand name for my podcast (this is really important to get right, so you can benefit from brand recognition, optimised searches, and ranking in the charts)
2) Get started recording high-quality episodes, despite very little technical knowledge
3) Strike the balance between my own content, guest interviews
4) Get a huge wave of subscribers on launch day – getting me to #1 on iTunes (above Rob – ha!)
5) Get a huge wave of DOWNLOADS on launch day (this is important – most people get subscribers but then not enough downloads to boost their ranking)
6) Create a ‘bridge’ between the podcast launch and my products/services – making it easy for people to move from one to the other
And…
Ultimately generate over £250k in revenue within 90 days (and a further £200k within 6 months!)
Note: This strategy doesn’t just work for launching podcasts. I’ve seen it used for launching books, apps, courses, etc. It’s a great way to have greater impact and make more income, regardless of your business model.
